MANHATTAN — A man was arrested Thursday morning after putting his hand up a woman's skirt in a Flatiron subway station over the weekend, police said.

Daniel Galantter, 47, who can be seen in surveillance photos released by police, first wrapped his arm around the 23-year-old woman inside the N and R train station at 23rd Street and Broadway Saturday about 6:45 p.m., NYPD officials said.

He then put his hand up her skirt and groped her before fleeing, police said.

Police released his photo about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, and he was arrested about 12 hours later following an anonymous tip, the NYPD said.

He was picked up near Sixth Avenue and 23rd Street, an NYPD spokesman said.

He faces charges of stalking and sex abuse, police added.
