BROOKLYN — A man was being questioned Thursday afternoon in connection to the shooting and robbery of an off-duty NYPD officer in East New York, police said.
A 33-year-old officer was shot and robbed outside of 737 Bradford St. near Hegeman Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. A man was being questioned, but no arrests have yet been made for the incident, an NYPD spokesman said.
The officer was hit in the left forearm and had a graze wound to his torso, officials said. Police didn't say what was taken from him.
He took himself to Brookdale University Hospital, police said.
