HUDSON SQUARE — Construction on Cadillac's new offices at 330 Hudson St. will be finished in a few months, a spokesman said.

Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell said the office portion of the car company's new headquarters west of SoHo is expected to be ready for move-in "sometime in September."

"Construction and prep is taking place now at 330 Hudson," Caldwell said via email. "In fact, the office phase is nearing completion."

"While that’s been taking place, the Cadillac team has taken temporary residence in Midtown," Caldwell added.

The temporary Midtown office sits inside an existing space Cadillac's parent company has leased for many years, Caldwell said.

The relocation of the company's headquarters was announced a little less than a year ago.

Caldwell also said the company is planning a second phase of construction for a street-level space in its new building "that will be more 'public.'"

Caldwell declined to provide more details on that space, "as it’s still in the design phase and is something that probably does not materialize until next year."
