WILLIAMSBRIDGE — A 7-year-old girl was critically injured after she was struck by a hit-and-run driver Sunday night, according to the NYPD.

Police say the child was crossing East 214th Street near Paulding Avenue in the Bronx just after 10 p.m. when she was struck by a black Jeep Wrangler that was heading west on the roadway.

The woman driving the car fled the scene, police said. The girl was taken to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition.

There had been no arrests as of Monday afternoon, the NYPD said.
