WILLIAMSBURG — The L train won't run late at night on weekdays for four weeks between the Lorimer Street and Myrtle-Wyckoff stations starting this week.

Trains will not run between the stops — which span from Williamsburg to Bushwick — from 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning as the MTA works on renewing the rails near Lorimer Street, according to an MTA spokesman. The suspensions are currently in effect.

Additionally, the L will only run every 20 minutes between Eighth Avenue in Manhattan and Lorimer Street in Brooklyn, as well as between Myrtle-Wyckoff and Rockaway Parkway during that time, according to the MTA.

The suspension will continue on weeknights until Friday, March 20. Free shuttle buses are being provided between the stops.

However, it's not the last time the L train will see late-night service suspensions this spring.

Starting March 25, the train won't run from Bedford Avenue to Eighth Avenue between midnight and 5 a.m.

The late-night suspension will continue until May 22, as the MTA does planned maintenance work.

L train riders will also have to find alternative ways to get to Manhattan for six weekends during that time. The train won't be running between Bedford Avenue and Eighth Avenue all day on weekends between April 11 and May 18.

The MTA plans to provide free shuttle buses from the Lorimer stop to the Marcy Avenue JMZ stop during the suspension.
