CLINTON HILL — The neighborhood is becoming CrossFit central — with another gym, CrossFit Kingsboro, set to open in the former Soule spot.

The gym, at 920 Fulton St., officially opened to students on Dec. 1, offering free hour-long classes and is set to have its grand opening on Dec. 14.

Founded by fitness veterans Steve Pokk, Christopher Sainsbury, Charmel Rogers and Cloyde Mills, CrossFit Kingsboro joins Clinton Hill's CrossFit Outbreak, which launched in October and Crow Hill CrossFit, which is set to open in their new Crown Heights digs this weekend.

The founders could not be reached for comment.

One new member, Lamecca Sainsbury, raved about the new space on Facebook.

"There's a backyard space that adds total awesomeness to the workout environment," she posted. "It's like showing up at the park and having a personal trainer or workout buddy on hand."

CrossFit is a high-intensity strength and conditioning program that was founded in 2000 and now has more than 3,400 affiliate gyms worldwide.

Brooklyn now has approximately 10 CrossFit gyms including Crossfit South Brooklyn in Gowanus, CrossFit Dumbo, Bay Ridge CrossFit, CrossFit Virtuosity in Williamsburg and CrossFit 718 in Sunset Park.

Visit the gym's website to check out a schedule of classes and get more information about CrossFit Kingsboro.
