NEW YORK — The big story of the week was the arrival of Ebola in New York City, after a Harlem doctor who had traveled to Guinea tested positive for the virus. (Speaking of which: Don't panic.)

But lots of other things happened, too, including a woman who hid a stolen Rolex watch in her crotch and a housing lottery that offers $640-per-month apartments in Williamsburg.

Get a Williamsburg Apartment for $640 a Month

A Williamsburg building is holding a housing lottery for affordable apartments, which will start at just $640 per month for a studio. The deadline to enter the lottery at 59 Frost St. is Dec. 22.

Woman Hides Stolen Rolex in Her Crotch

A woman picked up a man at a bar and went back with him to his Holiday Inn hotel room, then convinced him to take off his $25,000 Rolex and stole it, police said. Shacarye Tims, 25, hit the man in the head several times while attempting to escape, and police later found that she had hidden the pricey watch in her vagina, prosecutors said.

VIDEO: NYPD Officer Kicks Colleague in Head

A police officer who thought he was kicking a suspect in the head was actually attacking one of his colleagues, according to a video obtained by DNAinfo New York. The undercover officer, who has not been identified, was stripped of his gun and badge following the incident. The video is being investigated by prosecutors and the NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau.

Brooklyn Churches Raise Money by Selling Property

Cash-strapped churches in Brooklyn are looking to sell their parking lots and unused buildings as a way of raising money to continue their social services work. Borough President Eric Adams recently hosted a conference for hundreds of religious leaders on how to work with private developers.

Central Park Cyclists Hit Pedestrians 35 Times This Year

Cyclists pose more of a threat to pedestrians in Central Park than drivers do, based on new numbers released by the NYPD. So far this year, cyclists have hit pedestrians in the park 35 times, killing two people. In contrast, only one person has been hit by a car and suffered a minor injury, police said.

Take Your 6-Year-Old Clubbing

For the 6-year-olds who want to go clubbing this Halloween, CirKiz is holding an EDM (electronic dance music) party at Meatpacking District club VIP Room. There will be guest DJs, large video screens and a costume contest.
