WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — Police want to question a woman who fled with a suspect wanted for shooting that took place after a fight on West 163rd Street last month, the NYPD said.

A gunman shot a 25-year-old man in his right foot outside of 520 W. 163rd St. on Sept. 21, the NYPD said. Police obtained surveillance footage showing the man and the gunman fighting just before the shooting took place, a police source said. They also recovered a .45 caliber shell casing at the scene, the source added.

The shooting suspect, who is described as in his 20s and standing 5-foot-10, fled on foot toward St. Nicholas Avenue with a female who is wanted for questioning, the NYPD said. The victim was treated at New York Presbyterian Hospital and released, police noted.

Police have released images of both the suspect and the woman.
