QUEENS — Trains along the N, Q and R lines were running normally but with some delays after a rail condition disrupted service between Queens and Manhattan Thursday, the MTA said.

A "rail condition" at the Lexington Avenue-59th Street subway station prompted the MTA to suspend N and Q trains between the boroughs and re-direct the R onto the F line, officials said.

Regular service resumed about 8:30 a.m., an MTA spokesman said.

It was not immediately clear what the "rail condition" was, but the MTA was investigating, the spokesman said.
