FORT GREENE — A science teacher at the ultra-competitive Brooklyn Tech High School — which the mayor's son attends — was charged with sending a lewd Snapchat picture to a student, according to an indictment unsealed Tuesday.

Sean Shaynak, 44, sent a photo of his genitals to the 16-year-old student via the self-deleting message service on the first day of summer break, but the quick-thinking girl took a picture of it with her phone before it disappeared, according to court documents.

Shaynak was arrested at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday and charged with disseminating indecent material to a minor, as well as obscenity, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.  If convicted, he faces up to seven years in prison.

“F--- you, I’m not going anywhere,” he told the detective who arrested him, according to a police report.

Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson said schools should be havens where teachers protect students rather than endanger them.

"Here, the defendant is accused of betraying his position of trust," Thompson said.

Shaynak teaches aeronautics at the elite public high school that Dante de Blasio also attends. Shaynak is expected back in court Sept. 30 and is being held on $100,000 bond.

Shaynak entered a not guilty plea, according to the district attorney. His lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
