WILLIAMSBURG — Those longing for a grown-up Easter egg hunt need look no further than Grand Street tomorrow afternoon.

The Great Egg Hunt, a new pub crawl that offers participants the opportunity to hunt for prize-filled Easter eggs, will take place Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m.

Grand Street’s six participating restaurants and bars are Dar525, LP and Harmony, Huckleberry Bar, Bushwick Country Club and Williams and Bailey.

The event is sponsored by the Grand Street Business Improvement District, in partnership with TableHoppingNY. The BID has sponsored other pub crawls, though this is the first year it is organizing one for Easter.

“We’re kind of off the beaten track so a lot of people may not know about Grand Street and may not visit us, but this gives us the chance to highlight our great businesses and entrepreneurs,” said Artineh Havan, who works for the BID.

Jon Katayama, the manager at Huckleberry Bar, said he plans to offer happy hour prices on drinks, as well as a discount on a cocktail the bar offers called El Jardin, which is made with egg white, pisco, sherry, lemon juice, rhubarb bitters and raspberry-rhubarb syrup.

“Some will be quite easy and some will be quite difficult like any good egg hunt,” Katayama said of the eggs that will be hidden in his bar.  Each bar will have a small number of eggs for pub crawl participants to find, filled with prizes such as free drinks, snacks and candy. Organizers will be hiding them throughout the two hours, so all guests will have a fair chance of finding one.

Those who wish to attend must to register online with TableHopperNY before the event, or pay a $5 fee at the door.
