UPPER EAST SIDE — Holidays on the Upper East Side just got a little sweeter.

Chocolatier Jacques Torres is opening a pop-up shop on Thursday at Third Avenue near East 69th Street that will run through December 28, the chef announced.

Chocolate lovers can purchase the full-range of Jacques Torres products, including candy, cookies and baking mixes. The shop, decorated in Torres’s signature orange, will also carry winter specialties such as chocolate Santas and minty Candy Cane Bars. It will also serve Torres’s hot chocolate, which can be ordered classic or “Wicked,” with a touch of ancho chili pepper.

Jacques Torres opened his first New York chocolate shop in DUMBO. He has since built that shop into a sugar-fueled empire that includes three permanent locations in Manhattan and an ice cream parlor in DUMBO.

The pop-up shop represents Torres’s first foray into the Upper East Side. In addition to the Third Avenue pop-up, Torres also has a holiday location in the Winter Village at Bryant Park and will open a third pop-up shop on East 57th Street.

The shop, located at 1188 Third Avenue, will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on all
