CROWN HEIGHTS — A track fire shut down subway service along the 2, 3, and 4 lines south of Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn on Thursday morning, MTA officials said.

The fire broke out at around 9:30 a.m on the southbound track between the Franklin Avenue and Nostrand Avenue subway stations, officials said.

The FDNY said that the Nostrand Avenue station was evacuated due to smoke, that power to the track had been shut off and officials were fighting the blaze.

Limited service resumed on Thursday afternoon on the 2 line between Flatbush Avenue and President Street and on the 3 line between New Lots Avenue and Utica Avenue.
