EAST WILLIAMSBURG — Time to get your dancing shoes on, Brooklyn — or better yet, your roller skates.

Brooklyn Fire Proof will be hosting “Mind Body and Roll,” a 12-hour extravaganza this Saturday celebrating health, wellness, and house music.

And this isn’t your usual party: a pop-up roller rink is being set-up in the back, and wellness workshops will be going on throughout the day.

You bring your own roller skates, or rent them for $10 from Skate Truck NYC, which will be at the venue.

The founder, Adriana Echandi, 24, works in marketing in the architecture and design industry, and wanted to create an event where people could be active, healthy, and having a good time – all at once.

“I want people to come in, try something new, have fun, and go away with something.” she said.

Echandi was first inspired to create an event merging house music and alternative health after taking the “Self Expression and Leadership” course at the Landmark Forum, an organization devoted to encouraging personal development.

In her course, Echandi had to do a community project — and she chose to focus on the house music community.

Echandi is also a big fan of roller derby, and was impressed by the High Line’s popup roller rink that appeared in 2011.

Mind Body and Roll will be jam-packed with activities: from wellness talks to dance and skating lessons, Echandi promises that nobody will be bored.

The talks range from “Eating for Energy” to “Maximum Muscle Function” — and one of the classes will teach the “Gaga” movement style, which Echandi explains is an experimental dance that came out of Israel.

Dancers and skaters will be able to munch on Kimchi Burgers made by Mama O’s Premium Kimchi, and sip Kombucha Cocktails made by Kombucha Brooklyn.

Local D.J.s will be keeping the place pumping: from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., it will be exclusively vinyl, with lots of disco and house music.

From 10 p.m. onwards, the roller rink will close, but the house music will be going on into the early hours of the morning. Select musicians include Soul 2 Seoul, Trap.Avoid, and the Bushwick duo “Up Above – NYC.”

Mind Body and Roll is free and family-friendly during the day (there is a suggested donation). After 8 p.m., the venue is 21+ with a $10 cover – but it’s free before 11 p.m. if you RSVP at mindbodyrollbk@gmail.com.
