CYPRESS HILLS — A cement truck slammed into the side of a school bus on Thursday afternoon, sending six children and two adults to a nearby hospital, FDNY officials said.
The truck t-boned the bus — with children on board — at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Lincoln Avenue at about 4:30 p.m.
The eight who were injured were taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries.
