Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Near 246th Street, Police Say

ROSEDALE — A 31-year-old man was killed in a predawn hit-and-run Wednesday, cops said.

The unidentified man was standing on the corner of Francis Lewis Boulevard and 246th Street about 3 a.m. when an unknown vehicle slammed into him and drove off, according to the NYPD.

Emergency responders found him unconscious with severe injuries all over his body, cops said.

He was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he died, police said.

The type of vehicle that killed him is unknown and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
