19-Year-Old Leaps to His Death off Brooklyn Bridge

BROOKLYN BRIDGE — A 19-year-old man died Tuesday morning after leaping from the Brooklyn Bridge, officials said. 

The unidentified man climbed the cables of the bridge to one of its towers at about 7:30 a.m. before plunging to his death, NYPD and FDNY officials said. 

Police have not released his name pending family notification.
