MANHATTAN — A weather system forecast to drop up to 2 inches of snow on the Big Apple barely dusted the city Saturday morning.

Manhattan has seen very little of the white stuff so far this winter, with just 4.3 inches falling in Central Park during a Jan. 21 storm.

New Yorkers were unimpressed by the light flakes Saturday, noting Mother Nature's balmy treatment of the city this season.

"Snow, what snow?" said Dariusz Murakowski, 21, in Harlem Saturday. "This isn't really like snow, since it's melting pretty fast. This has been a pretty lame winter."
