MANHATTAN — Fashionista Todd Oldham won a court victory Wednesday when a federal appeals court reinstated his breach of contract suit against Old Navy, according to reports.

The designer reportedly claimed that the clothing retailer unfairly fired him and pulled out of a deal to develop a clothing line with his L-7 Designs company.

Oldham had demanded $75 million in damages, but later trimmed that to $20 million, according to the New York Post.

In a unanimous ruling, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals said Old Navy never presented any evidence challenging Oldham's contention that his work was widely praised by management, the Post reported.
