MANHATTAN — Police were hunting a man who allegedly robbed a Chelsea bank Tuesday.
The man allegedly held up the Chase bank at Sixth Avenue and West 19th Street shortly before its 6:00 p.m. closing.
Police said he approached a teller and demanded money without brandishing a weapon.
He fled after being given an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the NYPD.
Officials described the suspect as a white man of medium build, about five-feet-ten inches tall and around 45-years-old. He wore a striped button-up shirt, a dark hat, blue jeans and white shoes at the time of the robbery.
