GRAMERCY — A small fire broke out in a Gramercy commercial building steps away from the 6 train's 23rd Street station on Park Avenue early Tuesday morning, fire officials said.

The fire began at 2:51 a.m. on the first floor of an 11-story commercial building at 290 Park Avenue South, the FDNY said.

The flames were under control by 3:11 a.m. No injuries were reported, according to FDNY.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
