MANHATTAN SUPREME COURT — A man accused of raping two women in less than three months on the same Hamilton Heights rooftop was sentenced Monday to six months in jail plus probation after pleading guilty to a non-sex crime.

Taurean Williams, 25, was charged with sexually assaulting a 17-year-old woman in October and a 45-year-old woman on Jan. 1, but prosecutors said they could not prove either claim.

Instead lawyers negotiated a deal where Williams pleaded guilty to criminal possession of stolen property in the first incident — robbery was one of the initial charges against him — and coercion in the first degree in the second incident, for forcing the victim to perform an unspecified action.

He did not admit to raping either of the alleged victims but claimed sex in the second case was consensual.

He will likely serve a total of a year in jail for the combined sentences.

Despite the allegations, he will not have to register as a sex offender when he's released from jail and makes a return to his Harlem community.

Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan, who executed Williams' sentence, said he would recommend Williams get treatment as a sex offender, even though he was not found guilty of a sexual offense.

Williams will remain on probation for 4 1/2 years.
