MANHATTAN — A 12th person has been detained in connection to a Russian spy ring that rocked Manhattan, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

Not much has been disclosed about the latest alleged undercover agent, other than the fact that he is 23 years old and has been under surveillance by the FBI since shortly after his arrival to the U.S. in August 2009.

The news came just four days after U.S. authorities traded 10 confessed Russian spies, including former Financial District resident Anna Chapman, for four prisoners being held in Russia.

An 11th spy suspect remains on the loose, after reportedly jumping bail in Cyprus.

Manhattan prosecutors did not have enough evidence to charge the unidentified 23-year-old alongside the initial round of suspects last month, but the U.S. rescinded his visa the day before the arrests as a precaution, a U.S. official told the Journal.

As word of the newest spy suspect spread, Anna Chapman, the Manhattan bombshell who made headlines with a series of scantily clad Facebook photos, posted a literary bon voyage to the city from her native Russia, the New York Post reported.

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times," Chapman wrote on her Facebook page, according to the paper, quoting Charles Dickens in an apparent reference to her time in New York.

Tabloid fans can only hope that the newest spy suspect proves to be as colorful a character as the red-headed Chapman.

His place of residence has yet to be revealed.
