LOWER MANHATTAN — It’s a good weekend to be a downtown dad.

In honor of Father’s Day, more than a dozen lower Manhattan businesses are offering specials.

Dads receive free admission to the Museum of American Finance on Wall Street on Saturday, plus a 25 percent discount at the museum shop all month. The South Street Seaport Museum and the New York City Police Museum are also offering discounts this weekend.

Tired dads will hopefully get a chance to sleep late on Sunday, and then they’ll have plenty of places to get free coffee in lower Manhattan: Leo’s Bagels on Hanover Square is offering a small coffee gratis to fathers who buy a smoked fish sandwich, and SUteiShi on Peck Slip is treating all dads to coffee and dessert.

Many of the specials don’t require that the recipient be a father, or even male. Joseph Cione salon in the World Financial Center is giving men and women 25 percent off all services for the rest of the month.

Other promotions available to everyone include a free glass of Prosecco with every meal at Acqua at Peck Slip on Sunday, and a special a la carte Father’s Day menu for all diners at Les Halles Downtown on John Street.

After all that eating and drinking, dads who are looking for a workout may want to head to New Field Yoga on Cliff Street, which is offering fathers a 20 percent discount on membership and class packages.

More specials are available on the Downtown Alliance website.
