MANHATTAN — Poison frontman and “Celebrity Apprentice” star Bret Michaels, 47, was released from a Phoenix hospital nearly two weeks after he suffered a massive brain hemorrhage.

Michaels is expected to make a full recovery, Dr. Joseph Zabramski told a group of reporters at a press conference on Tuesday, the AP reported. But the doctor warned that the overactive rocker should wait at least four to six weeks before resuming his busy schedule.

Representatives for Michaels have announced that touring dates through May 21 have been postponed, reports the AP. Michaels is scheduled to perform live in a "comeback show" on May 26 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, according to the music website NME.

Whether the rocker-turned-reality TV star will appear on the May 23 season finale of “Celebrity Apprentice” is still unknown.

The important thing, said his doctor, is that Michaels will recover.

“Having said that 15 to 20 percent of patients die, Mr. Michaels was a lucky person, a very lucky person,” said Zabramski.
