MANHATTAN SUPREME COURT — The convicted killer of "Realtor to the Stars" Linda Stein is scheduled to be sentenced on Monday.

Natavia Lowery, who was Stein's personal assistant before she beat her boss to death with a yoga stick, faces up to life in prison. But her family and attorney have pledged to appeal the Feb. 23 murder conviction.

After a month-long trial, Manhattan jurors took just five hours to find Lowery guilty of killing stein on Oct. 30, 2007, after stealing more than $30,000 from her boss and attempting to cover it up.

Surveillance video played at trial showed Lowery was the only other person in Stein's Fifth Avenue apartment at the time of the murder.

Several days after Stein's body was discovered by her daughter, Lowery made an precinct confession that she'd repeatedly beaten Stein, but claimed she did not intend to kill her.

Lowery has been in jail since the 2007 confession.
