MANHATTAN SUPREME COURT — A man accused of running an online scam that lured women for “modeling auditions” and then used them as sex workers was sentenced to 3.5 to seven years in prison on Wednesday.

The alleged pimp, Jason Breska, 38, was charged with tricking women who responded to his Craigslist modeling ads into having sex with his “friends” as a way to advance their careers.

One victim allegedly performed sex acts on 50 to 60 clients while the defendant collected all the money from the services, according to the criminal complaint.

Breska was also charged with rape for allegedly forcing oral sex on one of the women. Prosecutors said he lured the victim to a hotel on West 32nd Street for a phony audition and then made her “prove her loyalty.”

Breska only pleaded guilty to promoting prostitution.
