MANHATTAN -- Michael Douglas’ son pleaded guilty Wednesday to dealing massive amounts of crystal meth out of the upscale Gansevoort Hotel, the Associated Press reported.

Cameron Douglas, 30, was the center of a three-year Drug Enforcement Administration sting culminating in a bust at the Meatpacking District hotspot last July. Authorities said Douglas trafficked pounds of crystal meth out of upscale hotels across New York and Los Angeles, and also sent the drugs through FedEx, according to People Magazine.

Douglas pleaded guilty in Manhattan federal court Wednesday and faces a minimum of 10 years in prison. The third generation actor and one-time deejay is the son of Oscar-winner Michael Douglas, 64, and grandson of “Spartacus” star Kirk Douglas, 92.

He had initially been held under house arrest, but was sent to jail after his girlfriend allegedly tried to sneak him some heroin inside an electric toothbrush, the AP reported.
