MANHATTAN - They want a slice of the action.

Famous Ray's Pizza in Greenwich Village is being sued for trademark infringement by a restaurant company that is looking for their share of the dough, according to The New York Post.

The pizzeria, on Sixth Avenue and 11th Street, has been around for decades, but USA Famous Original Licensing Corp., which owns the trademark on "Famous Ray's Pizza" is accusing it of false advertising and unfair competition, the paper said.

The Manhattan federal lawsuit charges that Rays, owned by Max Brothers Pizza, is eroding the "goodwill, customer base [and] market share" of Famous Original, which owns 17 Ray's pizzerias around the city.

Ray's owner Sam Singh did not return a all for comment, according to the paper.

A worker who answered the phone at the restaurant Thursday night refused to relay a message to him.
