MANHATTAN SUPREME COURT — A Connecticut father admitted to molesting five children while chaperoning his son's fifth-grade class trip to the city in June, prosecutors said.

Tomas Manzano, 35, of Stamford, Conn. pleaded guilty Monday in Manhattan Supreme Court to a felony sex abuse charge.

He admitted to touching his son's classmates in intimate places while belligerently drunk on the bus tour, which included stops at the Bronx Zoo and the theme-restaurant Mars 2112.

Prosecutors said he was drinking booze from a water bottle on June 2 and resisted police in Times Square when they arrested him on the double-decker bus the school was using for the fieldtrip.

"You're so pretty, you should date my son so I can see you more," he allegedly told one young girl.

Manzano has been in jail since the incident. He was given six months in jail in exchange for pleading guilty Monday, and because he has been in jail since June, he was released.

Manzano's lawyer, Paul Petrus, said his client is receiving counseling and "trying to move on with his life."

"He's sorry about what happened," the lawyer added.
