TRIBECA — An East Village man was extradited from Pennsylvania to face charges Monday that he murdered a Pace University student.

Randy Colon, 30, was arraigned Monday in the shooting of Max Moreno, 21, in Moreno's luxury Financial District apartment last month.

Colon, and his alleged accomplice, Raymond Rizzo, 30, of Brooklyn, burst into Moreno's 2 Gold St. apartment on Sept. 29 after Moreno had allegedly sold marijuana to a couple, prosecutors said.

When Moreno refused to comply with the intruders' demands, Colon allegedly shot and killed him, prosecutors said.

Colon is charged with murder in the first degree, robbery, burglary and assault.

The assault charge relates to the beating of a witness to the attack, said Arnold Levine, who is temporarily serving as Colon’s lawyer.

Colon and Rizzo allegedly beat the witness with a metal box, "causing him to suffer swelling, bruises and substantial physical pain," according to the Manhattan District Attorney's criminal complaint against Rizzo.

After the shooting, Colon fled to Pennsylvania, where he was arrested, prosecutors said. He was then extradited Monday to the 1st Precinct in Manhattan.

Colon ignored reporters’ questions as he was taken from the precinct house to the courts Monday afternoon.

Colon will next appear in court on Oct. 29.
