The City Council Speaker's South Bronx seat is up for grabs for the first time since 2005.

The state has put out a request for expressions of interest for Harlem River Yards in Port Morris.

The restaurant at 136 Alexander Ave. serves up a variety of pizzas, pastas, paninis and salads.

The restaurant, called La Grata, should open in the fall at 134th Street and Alexander Avenue.

The market at 9 Bruckner Blvd. will include a rooftop beer garden, developer Keith Rubenstein said.

Projects from Somerset Partners and The Hudson Companies fueled much of the growth, the report said.

The shop, called Filtered Coffee, will be located at East 134th Street and Third Avenue.

The event, called South Bronx Love Letter, will happen on March 12 at the Bronx Music Heritage Center.
