BROOKLYN — A person was struck by a train in Prospect Heights Wednesday afternoon, disrupting 2, 3, 4 and 5 trains service for an hour, the MTA said.
The 20-year-old victim was hit at the Grand Army Plaza after at about 3:12 p.m., according to the NYPD and MTA’s website.
An NYPD spokesman said they initially believed the person jumped in front of the train but were still investigating. The person was taken to Methodist Hospital, and it was not immediately clear if the victim was expected to survive.
Southbound trains were skipping the station and there were delays in both direction. Service resumed at about 4:12 p.m., the agency said.
