89-Year-Old Man Knocked to Ground in Jackson Heights Robbery, Police Say

​JACKSON HEIGHTS — An 89-year-old man was pushed to the ground by two robbers who stole his keys, police said.

Two suspects approached the victim at the corner of 83rd Street and 35th Avenue at around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday and knocked him over, according to police.

The pair then took his keys and fled.

The victim was treated at a nearby medical facility for bruising after the attack, police said.

Surveillance video captured images of the two suspects before the attack. One man was last seen wearing a blue baseball hat with stars and a tattoo on the back of his neck. The other suspect was wearing camouflage pants and a black du-rag, video shows.
