THE BRONX — A woman was raped and robbed by a gunman who police say used a fire escape to climb into her Parkchester apartment.
The suspect climbed into the bedroom of the 28-year-old woman’s third-floor apartment near East Tremont and Thieriot avenues Sept. 10 around 12:30 a.m., the NYPD said Wednesday.
He then pulleded out a gun with a light attached to it and demanded money, according to police.
She gave him $400 cash before he raped her, according to police.
The woman was treated at Jacobi Hospital. The attacker fled in an unknown direction.
He was wearing a green T-shirt and faded blue jeans during the rape.
