MANHATTAN — A man injured his leg when it got caught between a 4 train and the subway platform at the Union Square station Sunday night, police said.
The 27-year-old man, whose identity wasn't immediately released, was on the northbound side when his leg somehow slipped between the train and platform about 7:30 p.m., an NYPD spokesman said.
Responding officers cinched his leg with a tourniquet until medical crews were able to free him and bring him to Bellevue Hospital, where he's listed in stable condition, police said.
Investigators don't believe any criminality was involved in the incident, police said.
