VIDEO: Police Seek Man in Robbery of Fried Chicken Joint

PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS — Police are looking for a gun-wielding robber who threatened a Crown Fried Chicken worker last month.

The NYPD released surveillance footage over the weekend of the July 11 stickup, which shows the man walking along a sidewalk outside the Crown Fried Chicken at 1263 Nostrand Ave. and Parkside Avenue just after 11:30 p.m.

The suspect puts a white T-shirt over his face, walks into the eatery with a silver gun in his hand and demands cash at the counter. A worker hands over a tray full of cash and the man grabs all the bills, then leaves on foot, according to the video.

The man took about $550 in total, police said. The worker was uninjured in the incident.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, (888) 57-PISTA (74782).
