RED HOOK — The boyfriend of a missing New Jersey woman whose body was found in New York City waters was arrested Thursday, officials said.

Raphael Lolos, 40, murdered his girlfriend Jenny Londono, 31, cut up her body and then dumped the parts in the Hudson River sometime in June, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

He then "consistently and repeatedly" used her credit cards before his arrest July 6, officials said.

Londono's torso was first discovered floating in the water near Red Hook on June 27, police said. Days later, her leg was spotted by a jogger in the Hudson River, near the 79th Street boat basin.

The Edgewater woman was identified by the distinct tattoo on her torso, which was to honor her aunt, her mother told police.

Lolos, of Bergenfield, was charged with murder, desecration of human remains, hindering apprehension and credit card fraud, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

He was being held at Hackensack University Medical Center awaiting arraignment, officials said.
