2 Teen Girls Attacked with Bleach in Crown Heights

CROWN HEIGHTS — Two teenage girls were doused with bleach while walking on Nostrand Avenue this week, attacked by another teen and known gang member who threw the chemical on them, police said.

The two victims, ages 13 and 14, were walking on Nostrand Avenue near Union Street at approximately 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday when the suspect, approximately 17 years old, called out to one of the girls, then threw bleach at both of them.

The 14-year-old suffered first-degree burns to her chest and was taken to Kings County Hospital, police said. The 13-year-old suffered from burning skin and was treated by her family doctor.

The victims knew the suspect only as “Petty Queen,” her Facebook name, and that she is member of the Folk Nation street gang, they told police. She has not yet been identified or arrested.
