CROWN HEIGHTS — Police are looking for two men involved in the killing of a 46-year-old man at a Crown Heights gas station earlier this month, the NYPD said.
Keith Vereen, 46, of Queens was pumping gas at the BP station on Atlantic and Utica avenues June 17 when he was fatally shot in the chest.
On Tuesday, the NYPD released images from surveillance footage of two men who arrived at the gas station in a silver Infiniti sedan then left the scene in the car shortly after the shooting, police said.
One of the suspects was wearing a black hoodie at the time; the other wore a baseball cap, red T-shirt with a black and white image on the front and dark pants.
Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, (888) 57-PISTA (74782).
