This critter’s got grit!
It’s no pizza rat, but this might be the hardest working, meal-seeking rat in Brooklyn.
An eagle-eyed Crown Heights resident spotted a rat on her block that appears to be dragging an entire trash bag across a sidewalk, just to get at a personal pizza dough round inside, she said.
Leigh Conner said she was getting on her bike Thursday at Kingston Avenue and Dean Street when she saw “a trash bag moving away from the curb,” she told DNAinfo.
“I got off my bike and watched it and when the rat crawled out of the trash bag and started dragging it, I stared at it in astonishment for like a full minute before I had the sense to film it,” she said.

The resulting minute-long video shows the little rat tugging and pulling the bag all the way across the sidewalk before disappearing behind a gate.
It appears the intrepid creature got what it was seeking — a personal-sized pizza crust, Connor said — but ran away before it could enjoy its feast.
