CRIME BLOTTER: Fight Over Parking Spot Leads to Beating on Eastern Parkway

CROWN HEIGHTS — A 56-year-old man was beaten with baseball bats by two men after a fight over a parking spot on Eastern Parkway, police said.

The victim got into an argument with a man over the space on the northeast corner of the parkway and Utica Avenue on May 19, he told police.

The suspect initially walked away but a short time later, he returned with another man and the pair repeatedly beat the 56-year-old with baseball bats. They fled in a white Ford with Pennsylvania plates eastbound on Eastern Parkway, the victim told police.

The victim was treated on the scene for non-life-threatening injuries, police said. There have been no arrests.
