ARDEN HEIGHTS — A 1-year-old girl was revived with Narcan after she might have ingested methadone over the weekend, police said Tuesday.

Police received a 911 call of an unconscious infant inside a Grantwood Avenue home Sunday about 8 p.m., the NYPD said.

Emergency workers took the girl to Staten Island University Hospital South where they gave her Narcan — which is used to essentially reverse the effects of a drug overdose — causing her to regain consciousness, police said.

Her mother told police she was using methadone as part of her treatment for a drug addiction, a spokesman for the NYPD said.

The infant girl is in critical, but stable, condition, police said.

No arrests have been made and police said an investigation is ongoing.
