MANHATTAN — Disgraced ex-congressman Anthony Weiner was set to plead guilty to charges of sexting with a minor in federal court Friday morning, officials and a report said.

The former mayoral candidate and husband to top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin plans to plead guilty to one charge of sending obscene material to a minor under an agreement with federal authorities, The New York Times reported

Officials have been probing allegations that he exchanged lewd messages with a 15-year-old North Carolina girl starting in January 2016, the Times reported.

Weiner has been embroiled in multiple sexting scandals dating back to before his mayoral run, with the latest incident causing him and Abedin to separate.

Weiner previously stated that he was the victim of a hoax in regard to his alleged activities with the 15-year-old.

He also got caught up in FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of private email server while she was running for president, as federal authorities reportedly seized electronic devices belonging to him and Abedin.
