CORONA — Budding soccer stars should get a kick out of this.

The city will install a new soccer field at P.S. 19, at 98-02 Roosevelt Ave., as part of its new partnership with the New York City Football Club, one of the four main sponsors, as well as the Mayor’s Fund.

The program, dubbed New York City Soccer Initiative, also includes support from the U.S. Soccer Foundation and Adidas and was announced last summer.

It was first rolled out to eight fields across the city, and the goal is to get more kids playing soccer, officials said.

“As part of the New York City Soccer Initiative we’re excited to bring this new field to the students of P.S. 19 and the surrounding community, pending approval from the Public Design Commission," City Hall spokeswoman Jessica Ramos said.

There will also be after-school programming to "help keep our youngest New Yorkers active and healthy," she wrote.

The field at Corona is the second phase of the program, and should take about a year to be completed, according to the city.
