By Nicholas Rizzi | May 9, 2017 9:57am

STATEN ISLAND — A Bay Terrace man was arrested after police found child pornography on his laptop, prosecutors said.

Edward Pimm, 63, had nearly 60 images and four videos of pornography with children under 15 stored on his computer in his Bay Terrace home from October 2016 to March 2017, according to his criminal complaint.

Piimm was arrested May 2 and charged at his arraignment with possession of a sexual performance by a child, the Staten Island District Attorney's office said.

He was released without bail, according to online court records.

His lawyer did not respond to a request for comment.

Other notable arrests in Staten Island include:

► A man tried to outrun police by riding his dirt bike down a one way street, prosecutors said.

Police spotted Joseph Nisnevich, 22, riding an illegal dirt bike May 2 on Winant Avenue and tried to stop him after he ran a stop sign at the Correll Avenue intersection at about 4:20 p.m., according to a complaint.

Officers turned their sirens on to stop him, when Nisnevich turned the wrong way onto the one-way Ashley Lane, ran another stop sign and swerved around cars, prosecutors said.

Police eventually caught up with him in front of 61 Millennium Loop and arrested him.

Nisnevich was charged with reckless driving and obstructing governmental administration at his arraignment, the DA said. He was released without bail.

His Legal Aid lawyer declined to comment for this story.
