CORONA — A man walked into a pharmacy, grabbed a staffer by the collar and demanded presription pills, but fled empty-handed, police said.
The suspect entered the Corona Heights Pharmacy at 106-07 Corona Ave. at 12:30 on May 3, approaching a 64-year-old man who was working at the store.
He pulled out a knife, grabbed the man's shirt and demanded prescription medication, police said.
He pushed the employee but then ran out of the store without any pills. He fled, possibly in a white sedan captured on surveillance video, police said.
He was last seen wearing dark clothing and is described as around 23 years old, 5'9" and approximately 170 lbs., according to the NYPD.
