FLATBUSH — An enraged Brooklyn dad got bloody revenge on a man who snatched his 1-month-old baby, chasing the kidnapper down the street and stabbing him — ultimately leaving the man brain dead, the NYPD and prosecutors said.

Oleh Dubrovskyy and his neighbor Stanislav Bochkarev, both 27, began arguing inside their apartment building on Ocean Avenue near Glenwood Road about 4 a.m. Saturday. That’s when Bochkarev stormed into Dubrovskyy's apartment, snatched his baby, and ran, according to police and the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office.

Dubrovskyy chased Bochkarev down the street and grabbed his child back, then whipped out a knife and stabbed Bochkarev multiple times, leaving him brain dead, police and prosecutors said.

Bochkarev is now on life support at Kings County Hospital, according to police. He has not yet been charged in connection to the case due to his injuries, police sources said.

The baby was uninjured.

Dubrovskyy was taken into custody and was later charged with attempted murder, assault, acting in a manner injurious to a child and criminal possession of a weapon, according to police.

He was ordered held without bail at his arraignment and is due back in court on Friday, court records show. Information about his lawyer was not immediately available.

It was not immediately clear what the cause of the initial argument was.
