A kind-hearted stoner put a bong out with the trash and a "take me!" sign in the hopes someone could use it on 4/20 — the holiest of days on pot fans' calendar.
The bong was set out on the curb in Glendale with a note inviting anyone to scoop it up, according to a neighbor who spotted it on his way to work early Thursday.
"Put me on sidewalk...someone will take me! 4/20," the note read.
(The neighbor who found it — who asked that his name not be used — swears he only took photos of the piece and left it for someone else to grab.)
April 20 is known as "Weed Day," although it's not clear exactly why. Legend stated it was the number of California penal code, but that isn't true.
Its numerical significance has also been attributed to a Bob Dylan song and Grateful Dead fans, according to an explainer from CNN.
