CROWN HEIGHTS — Hillary Clinton will deliver the commencement address at Medgar Evers College this year, the school announced Friday.

The former presidential candidate, secretary of state, New York senator and first lady will give the speech at the college’s graduation ceremony at the Barclays Center on June 8.

Clinton, who visited the Crown Heights CUNY school just before the New York presidential primary last spring, will be awarded an honorary doctorate from the college.

“We are absolutely delighted and honored that Secretary Clinton will grace our stage at our 46th commencement,” college president Rudolph Crew said in a statement. “She has had an outstanding career as a public servant, breaker of barriers, and champion of many good causes.”

Clinton isn’t the only 2016 presidential candidate set to deliver a commencement address in Brooklyn this year. Bernie Sanders, a native of the borough, will speak at the graduation ceremony for Brooklyn College in May, also to be held at the Barclays Center.
